How to Contribute to the Endowment

Contributions to the Keith Porter Endowment are welcomed, and are tax deductible, since the Endowment is a charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Endowment, on request with a donation, will supply a letter stating that the contribution has been made. The contribution can be sent to the Keith R. Porter Endowment, c/o Lee D. Peachey, 524 Revere Road, Merion Station, PA 19066. For those who prefer to deliver their contribution, driving directions ar available online here , or by calling 610/664-0478.

You may want to consider a contribution of highly-appreciated securities as a way to support the endowment while avoiding paying high capital gains taxes on these securities. Please consult your tax advisor about how to do this and about the tax consequences of such a gift. Arrangements for transferring securities to the Endowment as a gift can be made by contacting Mr. Michael Jordan, Vice President, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Blue Bell Executive Campus, 460 Norristown Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422, 1-888-829-6912 (toll-free) or 1-484-530-1031 (direct to Mr. Jordan).
